Frederic Jahn created the role of Tybalt in the world premiere of Rudolf Nureyev’s Romeo and Juliet at the Coliseum Theatre, London in June 1977.
Regulating and rehearsing classical and contemporary ballets with all levels of dancers. Personal coaching and preparation of dancers for roles of great difficulty, for both debutants and established principals. Specifically, to ease technical stress, assist their comprehension of the dramatic and musical requirements of the role, and to facilitate the collaboration between male and female artistes in their partnering skills. Stagecraft: Dramatic interpretation, Make up, Lighting, Costuming, Musicality. Planning and Coordination: Rehearsals, Performances, and Casting.

1963-1965 Student: Academy Ludwig Werner, Dunedin, New Zealand 1984 Frederic Jahn retired from the stage and studied Architecture, Design and Carpentry, acquiring a London Diploma from the City & Guilds. 1996 He was accorded the French Diplome d’Etat as Professor of Dance. 1988 Returned to the Art of Dance at the Teatro Communale in Florence; the Balletto di Toscana, the Paris Opera, and La Scala Milan. Languages: English, Dutch, French, German and Italian. Knowledge of: Architecture and Design, Construction and Carpentry, Computers, Interests: Sailing, clay shooting, international cuisine, gardening, photography and woodworking. |
